My Fishing and Teaching Journey

I began my fishing journey at the age of four in South Dakota and Montana, and it has remained an integral part of my life ever since.

Throughout the years, I have explored various waters and techniques, but what has resonated with me the most is the time it takes for individuals to learn on their own. This realization inspired me to start teaching—my goal is to help others bypass the frustration and discover what truly works.

As a member of the International Federation of Fly Fishers and the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), I incorporate my extensive experience into every lesson, delivering it in a practical and relatable manner.

Currently, I work with beginners, families, and those looking to enhance their skills. My two sons, aged 11 and 12, have been fishing alongside me since they were four, so I’m well-versed in teaching with simplicity, patience, and clarity.
